Nick Fury (Samuel L. In the 2012 American superhero film Marvel Comics, The Avenger is the same-same superhero, made in Marvel Studios and distributed in Walt Disney Motion Pictures, and is a sixth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the film, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner and Thor is referenced by Nick Fury, CEO of the Spy organization S.H.I.E.L.D. to build a squad that must prevent Thor’s Loki from subjugating Earth.
The development of the film started when in April 2005 Merrill Lynch granted a loan to Marvel Studios. Marvel announced that The Avengers will come out in July 2011, after the successful Iron Man film in May 2008. The film was pushed back for a release in 2012, after Johansson was signed in March 2009. In April 2010, Whedon was on board and Zak Penn’s initial script was rewritten. Production started in April 2011 and moved into Cleveland, Ohio, in August, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Avengers debuted at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood on 11 April 2012 and was published in the USA on 4 May 2012. The film received prizes for direction and the show, visual effects, action sequences, play and musical score from Whedon and won numerous awards and nominations for visual achievements, including the Academy Award and the BAFTA nominations. It has created or linked countless records for the box office, including Canada’s largest opening weekend. The Avengers have grown to more than USD 1.5 billion globally and have become the third-highest film ever and the highest film ever made in 2012. This is Marvel’s first $1 billion productions.
